We had pretty much given up on all pizza franchises, as every one that we ever checked always had soy in the crust (“dough conditioning”, I think. Not sure what that means, but that’s been relayed to us on at least one occasion) or in the sauce itself.
At the insistence of our friends Kim & Bill, we went ahead and checked out Marco’s Pizza. We figured it’d be a quick “no”, but the more we dug, the more we were pleasantly surprised. Aside from their Italian sausage and chicken, the kids can have all of the other (non-dessert) toppings. All of the dessert pizzas have soy in them.
Getting to their allergy menu is kind of frustrating. They won’t even let you look at a menu unless you pick a location, and I still had to google their allergy information. Here’s the link we found: http://www.nutritionix.com/marcos-pizza/menu/special-diets/premium. Be warned, ingredient lists are shown in boxes that only show 5 lines of text, so you have to do a lot of scrolling to see everything (or copy and paste the ingredients into a text editor).
This is the one we ate at, but they are a nationwide chain.

Thank you so much for this! I struggle to dine out with my laundry list of food allergies.
Blazin Pizza has soy free dough. You can check out the nutritional info. on their website.
Papa John’s is also safe!
Papa John uses soy fat in their crust. It’s on the box.
Papa John’s allergen guide doesn’t list soy for their dough, but soybean oil is one of six ingredients. We found this out the hard way, after a reaction. However, their unsourced wings are safe.
