Alexa submitted this information on Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits:
I’m allergic to soy and nightshade vegetables. My family loves road trips which leaves me hanging most of the time since fast food is chock full of soy. And if it’s not, there’s a nightshade vegetable in it. So Bojangles’ was on the list of new places for my family to try. Unfortunately for us, they cook in vegetable oil which is 75% soybean oil. On top of that, everything, except their roasted chicken bites have soy in them already. But all in all, it’s a big GIANT no. I love your site. It’s a life saver.

Thanks, Alexa, for your research on Bojangles’, and for your kind words on the site.
The recipe may have been vegetable oil when this post was made, but as of 2024 Bojangles uses beef tallow for their oil.
Bojangles use PALM OIL, not tallow as of November, 2024. I wish they used tallow .. but it could be happening once Bobby is in charge of HHS
Suggest using Avocado oil. No soy please.
⁷yes lm allergic to lard and all mammals products
Yep, no one is allergic to lard or talor.
Alpha Gal Syndrome
Allergy to mammal meat and it’s byproducts. So yes you can 🤷🏼♀️
doubt it! To the Nth degree 😉 !! Dairy .. yes to the lactose .. that is a sugar
+ All plants have toxins to protect themselves as they don’t have legs to run away …
All animals do not have this, as it caused by a TICK BITE!
Alpha-gal syndrome (AGS) is a serious, potentially life-threatening allergic reaction to a sugar found in mammals: What it is AGS is an allergy to alpha-gal, a sugar molecule found in the tissues of most mammals, but not humans or other primates.
How it’s caused AGS is caused by a tick bite that transfers alpha-gal into the bloodstream. The body then produces antibodies to fight the sugar.
