Documenting the Use of Soy in Restaurants

McDonald’s now uses soy oil in everything. For many years it was seasonal where half the year they’d use canola oil or palm oil and the other half of the year soy oil. However, with the tariffs, McDonald’s is now soy all year around.
Save yourself the work: When it comes to fast food for 2019, the only large-scale chain that is soy free is Chipotle.
Palm (Not Palm Kernel) would be the winner in that line-up.
I live in Kennesaw, Georgia. I spoke with the manager of a McDonalds on Bellsferry Rd and Hwy 41. She said her son was allergic to soy and he could not eat there. Because the Teflon on the grill that the food is cooked on had soy in the glue that was part of the Teflon. She said her son had reactions to it. I’m not sure how that works but wanted to pass on the information. I have just developed an allergy to soy and it is frustrating trying to find places I can eat. Thank you for this site!
