We haven’t made it to Idlewild and SoakZone in Ligonier, PA yet this year, but a very helpful Kristie Schroyer emailed us the current ingredient list for the park for this year.
I haven’t gotten to format it like I did for their guide last year, so it’s pretty hefty to carry around, but I do see that they took me up on my suggestion and are formatting it to be two pages to a sheet of paper.
I also haven’t gotten to review it with a fine-toothed comb, but on the surface, it seems to be a lot of the same food, which unfortunately, most of it has soy in it in one form or another.
At least you can be forewarned and forearmed with this handy guide to Idlewild and SoakZone. Be warned, they take the ingredient and allergen list right off of the food packages, so if a vendor doesn’t think that there’s soy in soybean oil the entry won’t have the “contains soy” notification. If I get time, I’ll get this guide doctored up like I did last years guide.
If you’ve got any questions, you can get ahold of Kristie Schroyer – Food, Retail & Skill Games Manager at 724-238-3666 Ext. 2425. Everybody that I’ve ever worked with at this park has been incredibly helpful. Kristie, if you’re upset that I’ve posted your phone number, let me know and I’ll take it down!

I'm trying to track allergen information for every restaurant that we eat at. With my son's soy allergy, each time we eat at a restaurant, it can take up to 30 minutes to figure out what he can eat. Especially since most restaurants don't accurately represent their usage of soy.
We're tracking what soy free (including soybean oil free) foods our son can eat at all restaurants we go to. If you've got a soy allergy in your family and have any information you can share, please contact us.
